Alcoholaddiction is an exponentially increasing dreadful disease. Alcohol affectsevery body system, causing wide range of health problems. The consumption ofalcohol is arising as a serious issue. The risk of developing alcoholism is notcaused by a single gene, but rather a large number of genes that interact withone another. The purpose of this paper is to reduce alcohol consumption by controlling and monitoring. Sensorsare used as a device that responds to a physical stimulus and transmit aresulting impulse.
The interpreted data from the sensor is analyzed and usedfor prescribing the amount of liquor to the dipsomaniac person. The digitaldata is remotely maintained in the cloud repository. Through this alcoholsales, addiction can be controlled and avoid illegal sales. The over consumption of alcoholleads to many deaths worldwide. A survey in 2009 found that the net effect ofalcohol consumption causes 3.8% of all global deaths. The long term use ofalcohol causes damages to every organ system in the body. It includes· Cancer- Continuousconsumption can increases the risk of cancer.
· Cardiovascular disease- Continuousconsumption results in deadly condition which causes blood clot and weakens theheart muscle.· Immune system- Too muchof consumption can weaken our immune system that makes our body easier targetfor any disease.· High blood pressure-Alcohol can increase the blood pressure which lead to health problems such asheart and kidney disease. The excessivealcohol consumption in Russia, particularly by men, has in recent years causedmore than half of all the deaths at ages 15-54 years. A governmentalreport from Britain has found that there were 8,724 alcohol-related deaths in2007, lower than 2006, but more than double the 4,144 recorded in 1991. Thealcohol-related death rate was 13.
3 per 100,000 population in 2007, comparedwith 6.9 per 100,000 population in 1991. In Scotland, the NHS estimatethat in 2003 one in every 20 deaths could be attributed to alcohol. A 2009report noted that the death rate from alcohol-related disease was 9,000, anumber three times that of 25 years previously. A UK report came to the resultthat the effects of low-to-moderate alcohol consumption on mortality areage-dependent. Low-to-moderate alcohol use increases the risk of death forindividuals aged 16–34, but decreases the risk of death for individuals ages55+.
A study in the UnitedKingdom foundthat alcohol causes about 4% of cancer cases in the UK (12,500 cases per year).The Global Status Report on alcohol andhealth, 2014 says that in India, 30% of the population consumes alcoholregularly. Some 11% percent are moderate to heavy drinkers. The average Indian consumes alcohol per yearis 4.3 litres and the average rural Indian alcohol consumes alcohol per year is11.

Oursystem consists of an IOT based circuit system that uses a microcontroller,arduino, GSM and GPS. Two sensors areused to measure the health condition of a person. The sensors used in thisproject are body temperature sensor and ECG sensor. The body temperature sensor allows you to measure bodytemperature. It is a great medical importance to measure body temperature. Thebody temperature sensor can be applied to skin surface and it indicates thetemperature after reaching the steady state. The average normal body temperature is generally acceptedas 98.6°F (37°C).
Some studies have shown that the “normal” bodytemperature can have a wide range, from 97°F (36.1°C) to 99°F (37.2°C). Electrocardiography (ECG)is the process of recording the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time using electrodes placed on the skin. The normal range of ECG sensor is 440 ms. These sensor is then interfaced to a microcontroller thatallows checking readings and transmitting the resulting data.

The GSM module extracts the location from the GPS and send message tothe respective mobile number. The message includes health condition of a personand location of the shop. Through this alcoholsales, addiction and illegal sales can be controlled.
