Globalization is the increasing interaction of people through the growth of the international flow of money, ideas, and culture. Globalization has had many positive effects on the world ever since the first people started trading and these positive effects have helped to shape and advance these countries so that they can be as they are right now. Trade impacted things such as religion, culture, economics, and military in some countries.  Firstly, religion was greatly impacted by globalization for many countries. In Europe, during the crusades the Europeans learned many new things from the Muslims such as medicine, food, household items, education, and economy. The Muslims had all the ideas of medication that the Romans left behind after their fall in 476 AD and this helped Europeans to understand the body and advance medication even more.

The europeans and Muslims also traded many new and unique foods on the crusades which were brought back to Europe and eaten by nobles and kings, and these new foods would help to make new dishes in europe, muslims also traded many household items with the Europeans during the crusades which made day to day living better for them. They brought back things such as mirrors, cotton cloth, carpets, and mattresses. The muslims also showed the Europeans the regulation of currency which helped the trade between the two grow more and also helped the Europeans buy many other things from different countries for fair prices. Muslims also showed the Europeans how to do Algebra and alchemy which helped to develop better educations, and they also showed them more effective ways to irrigate their crops. Another effect on religion by globalization is the sharing of religious customs and practices, for example, the Greeks have a deity that has the exact same story as jesus but he came before jesus and this shows that the christians may have borrowed their ideas for jesus from this Greek deity. And another sharing of religious practices is the Greeks having many of the same practices as the Chinese such as burial ideas, worship, and afterlife beliefs.

Secondly, globalization positively impacted all the countries on the silk road. In Asia, trade positively impacted the country because all of the trade made China very rich and it made a stable economy for china. Also, trade allowed China to get compasses which lead to China being able to navigate the sea and trade with new areas. Globalization also impacted the Middle East because the trade made them able to tax the goods and make money, and the money from these taxes was used to hire people to protect the silk road and also it went towards paying for schools and libraries where  Muslims could study and learn and this is where they were able to learn algebra. To continue, globalization also affected europe in more ways than just religion, for example the plague helped to advance medicine and it also helped peasants get better working hours and more money.

Also, trade also helped cities be developed which became centers for trade and the development of cities also made it able for people to become a townsperson which gave them more freedom. Lastly, in Little Bee, the oil companies in Nigeria are able to get oil from that country and give it to other countries like America or England or other European countries. This type of globalization makes a positive impact because  the oil that these companies drills is used in many of the daily things we use like, cars, heating and electricity generation, asphalt and road oil, and feedstocks for making the chemicals, plastics, and synthetic materials that are in almost everything we use. Also, according to the EIA, or Energy Information Administration, “of the 7.21 billion barrels of the U.S petroleum oil consumption in 2016, 47% was motor gasoline, 20% was distillate fuel and 8% was jet fuel.”
