Emojis are formed byvarious combinations of keyboard characters and each emojis have uniqueUnicode, the Unicode’s are stored in the database with size 4 byte characters.Emojis are UTF-8 encoded symbols. Therefore, to save the emoji on the database,the database column should supports for UTF-8 encoding. UTF-8 is a compromise character encoding that canbe as compact as ASCII (if the file is just plain English text) but can alsocontain any Unicode characters (with some increase in file size).UTF stands forUnicode Transformation Format and ‘8’means it uses 8-bit blocks to represent a character. The number of block neededto represent a character varies from 1 to 4.

In current system,find out the string form of each emojis and then change to it in Unicode afterthat send to the database. When theincoming emojis are same the Unicode repeatedly stored into the database and itneeded more storage space. The proposed simple algorithm predominantly focus on the redundancyevasion of multiple and similar symbols in once device hence increasing the storage inan intrinsic way.This algorithm focuses on the repeatedly incoming emojis in different handheldcommunication devices and reduces the redundancy. If the incoming message ismatching with the emoji Unicode it will store to the database once and alsostore the count of that particular Unicode.
