The teams would have to use their feet or any part of their body except their hands to score in the opposing team’s goal. The rule of hand ball rule is from the fingers to the upper arm, players cannot touch or handle the while in play.

To look at the hand ball rule an easier way is a player cannot “handle” the ball. A ball that is kicked and hits a player’s hand is not a hand ball. But, it is the referee’s call if it is a hand ball or not. The players may use their hands on throw-ins. The goalie or goalkeeper may use their hands while the ball is in play. But, the goalie may not use their hands when their teammate passes the ball back to them. Throw-ins are taken when the ball crosses a sideline and leaves the field. The basic rules of a throw-in are the player has to keep both feet on the ground and to throw the ball over their head.

Corner kicks and goal kicks are taken when the ball passes the goal line (at the end of the field.  If the ball if kicked off the offensive team and the opposing team will take a goal kick. The goal kicks are taken inside the six yard box or the goal box by any player.

The basic rules for a goal kick is that the ball must leave the penalty area before any player can touch the ball. A corner kick happens when the opposing team kicks the ball out of the goal lina and the offensive team will take a corner kick. The corner kick is taken nearest to the corner where the ball left the field. Fouls happen when a player is kicked, trip, jump at, charge, strike, push, hold, or spit at an opponent. Bumping or leaning shoulder-to-shoulder is not a foul until hands, arms, or elbows are raised.

Offsides is when a player is behind the last opposing player and the boy has not been passed. They are offsides if they are involved in active play or determined to get the ball.Basic Techniques Passing the ball is one of the hardest and most important techniques in soccer. If you cannot pass the ball will not get to your teammates. Players  could pass the ball with any part of your foot. Players  could also pass the ball with any part of their body. The most common way to pass the ball is with the inside of the foot. Passing the ball with the inside foot is the most accurate way to pass the ball.

It is good to pass at any time, and it is easiest to pass so you will not get tired as fast.Dribbling is when players use both feet two move the ball. Players can use dribbling to get past the opposing team. It is good to dribble when you have space and you are close to the goal. Shooting is also one of the hardest and most important technique in soccer. Shooting is what players use to score goals. Shooting is good when you are close to the goal and have an open shot.

These competitions are both National and International competitions. But, soccer has many more competitions like,  UEFA European Football Championship, CAF Africa Cup of Nations, CONMEBOL Copa América, CONCACAF Gold Cup, FIFA Club World Cup,  and the FIFA Club World Cup.Conclusion Association Football is one of the most loved sport across the globe.
