Key Components of a ResumeThe purpose of a resume usually contains the following five key sections:1.      Contact2.      Education3.

      Experience4.      Honors and activities5.      SkillsContact SectionIt is important to include your contact information at the top of your resume. It should be easy to read, attractive,  and clear. It should be the first thing that the employer looks, and easily see how they can contact you. Make sure you include your full name, phone number, permanent address, and e-mail address.Your name should be at the very top, stand out, in larger font size, centered, and in bold. It is a necessary element that leads you to be called for an interview.The place of you your education section in a resume depends on your work experience. If you don’t have many years of experience or have just graduated, then your greatest strength is obviously your education not your experience. Honors and activities can be important professionally, and can show and tell your potential for leadership, teamwork skills and your professional experience. You may not have much work experience, but adding honors and activities can emphasize skills sets that are worthy to many employers.It is important to add honors and activities that will be fruitful to the particular job you are applying. This may include scholarships and academic awards, membership, leadership positions, work-related awards, honors and date of awards, and dates of involvement in activity.

Therefore, all your useful abilities that were not mentioned in your work experience section can be listed in this section, which also referred as “Additional skills”.  This section makes it simple for the employer to detect whether you have a specific skill required for a position. It is important to list and expand your skills that are relevant to the job you are applying, as the closer your list suits the skills required for the job, the more chance you get for the job. If you have different types of skills that are important to the job you are applying for, you can include more than one skill.
