Laura Secord      Laura secord is an example of bravery, courage and perseverance. She was born on september 13 1775 in great Barrington Massachusetts in united states but grew up in New England.

She was known for helping the british troops of an upcoming attack.. She could’ve not done it without her family’s support.     Her childhood upbringings helped become the courgeous person she  is. Laura secord had a very rough life. Her mother past away when she was only eight leaving four girls behind so Laura decided to quit school to watch her sisters.

Elizabeth and Thomas Ingersoll are Laura’s parents, Laura has a huge family she has six daughters and one son their names are Hannah, Appolonia, Laura, Harriet, Charollette, Mary, and Charles she also has four brothers and seven sisters and their names are Charles, Thomas, Samuel, James, Harriet, Charollette, Sarah, Appolonia., Abigail and Mia. Lauras dad is a big part of her roll he give support to laura since her mom past away. Her dad remarried three times they were all dying from an illness. Since she came from a single parent home she had to learn independence. This lead her to achieving goals of what she thinks is right.     Laura secord was selfless when it comes to helping others. She was unable to attend school because she had to raise her siblings and devoted her time to love on her family.

The main event that reflected her accomplishments was she had to walk six hours to warn the british troops of an attack that was about to happen. She was a saver, Brave and thoughtful. Although laura achieved her goals she could’ve not done it without any struggles.

For example laura walked six hours in the snow also she had to go through the woods while she was going through the woods she got a lot of cuts that were bleeding also she got covered in mud which is gross those are what you call struggles.

All these problems happened in war of 1812. Laura did such nice things that is how she is the greatest person she.    Laura secord is a inspiration to many. My opinion on laura is she is a saver to the troops. She was very brave to do what she did. She can inspire people to do what people think that can make someone’s day or even life who cares if you have to go through rough things as long as you know you’re helping someone that’s what matters. The super tiny things can make a difference.

Some interesting facts about laura secord is that their is a chocolate store named laura secord and it is actually located in square one and bramalea city centre and another fact is that her husband james got injured in queenston heights battle. Laura has done alot which was nice of her.    What laura has taught us is sometimes you need to put people before yourself  and do things to help others also sometimes you need to take risks and good things will happen.
