The main conflict is when one of Don John’s men “Enacts a scene at Hero’s window in which a woman who appears to be Hero succumbs to the amorous attentions of a man”(Play Summary,  Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) that wasn’t Claudio. For example when Claudio falls in love with Hero and Beatrice & Benedick also fall in love the garden and Shakespeare wanted to evoke the romantic mood of the time. The gardens are full of flowers that are beautiful which helped Shakespeare into “filling the air (or rather the audience members’ heads) with thoughts of love.”(Leonato’s House, Arielle Windham). Shakespeare is a wonderful and detailed playwright. Some famous words that Shakespeare has used is “Troth” when Hero is swearing to Claudio and “warrant” when Claudio was given approval to bring Beatrice and Benedick together. Shakespeare has many quotes that are famous. Some from “Much Ado About Nothing” is “I love you with so much of my heart that none is left to protest.

“(famous quotes, Royal Shakespeare Company) when Beatrice is saying this to Benedick and it is still used today by people telling their loved ones how much they love each other. There are many themes in the play “Much Ado About Nothing” one of the themes is “Don’t believe everything that you see.”. That theme can relate to life in many ways like when you see a bigfoot Tv show or movie and you think it is true or when you read something that you think is true but it is not on the internet. Another theme is “Honor is important” in Much Ado About Nothing. When we lose our honor in life we lose who we are and what we have tood for.

People who have done wrong things or are accused of wrong things, like Hero, lose their social status and are labeled a bad person. Shakespeare has impacted our lives and made us think differently than we would before we read or heard his plays. His plays, like Much Ado About Nothing, makes us think about our actions. After reading Much Ado About Nothing it makes me think about the times that I might have over reacted about something and didn’t let the other person explain themselves. Most of Shakespeare’s plays have been made into movies. Much Ado About Nothing has been made into two movies one in 1993 and one in 2012.

The movie made in 2012 is a more modern adaptation. Shakespeare has made an impact on our lives and the future generations to come.
