Introduction: Sresta is purely FMCG Company, produce organic food and supply to domestic retailers and Bulk to exports. Company started in 2004; with 10 employees grew to 190+ as of now. Question asked in project 1 about influence of environment in those structural changes. Organization structure hasn’t changed over the years. In terms of growth organization doing well. Company has recruited in manager and executive level recent years.
Below structure shows organization structure of Sresta. Sresta Organization structure As we see Regional Sales Manager, Brand & Marketing Manager, Retail Manger and Human Resource department reports to CEO. Factory Head, Quality Team, Procurement team and Production team report to Procurement and production Head. Senior Finance & Accounts Manager, Finance & Accounts Team, IT & Admin reports to CFO.
Export Team reports to Export Head. This structure formed based on the recourses requirement for the company but it is also called matrix organizational structure. This helps head of the organization work closely with lower department.
As discussed in group project 1 that critical function is production department, size of the production team is 67 collaboration needed. Strengths and weakness of the current organization are:Ø Easy way to approach to management for any issues. Comparing structure with HSBC India (Sriram Krishnan):Introduction: The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation is in banking sector and listed company. HSBC provides banking and financial services like accepts customer deposits, raise capital from investor and financial services to local vendor for their business growth. In India HSBC has branches and outsourcing for customer support. Since HSBC is international organization, maintain similar culture but In terms of market follows what domestic banker does. Ø Retail Banking: Retail banking Provide services like Private Banking, Express Banking, advances, consumer loans, payments, insurances, investment services, Interest Rates & fees, and Pensions. These services provided by the bank to its customer based on the eligibility criteria. Retail banking deals with the customer directly and the healthy relationship.
