Introduction: Sresta is purely FMCG Company, produce organic food and supply to domestic retailers and Bulk to exports. Company started in 2004; with 10 employees grew to 190+ as of now.  Question asked in project 1 about influence of environment in those structural changes. Organization structure hasn’t changed over the years. In terms of growth organization doing well. Company has recruited in manager and executive level recent years.

Below structure shows organization structure of Sresta. Sresta Organization structure As we see Regional Sales Manager, Brand & Marketing Manager, Retail Manger and Human Resource department reports to CEO.  Factory Head, Quality Team, Procurement team and Production team report to Procurement and production Head. Senior Finance & Accounts Manager, Finance & Accounts Team, IT & Admin reports to CFO.

Export Team reports to Export Head.  This structure formed based on the recourses requirement for the company but it is also called matrix organizational structure. This helps head of the organization work closely with lower department.

As discussed in group project 1 that critical function is production department, size of the production team is 67 collaboration needed. Strengths and weakness of the current organization are:Ø  Easy way to approach to management for any issues.  Ø  Employees has multiple reporting bosses.Ø  Opportunity for quality control, Mass production and Monitoring activitiesØ  Use of limited technology and Matrix structureØ   Supports inter-disciplinary co-operation & multi-function working. 1.

     Comparing structure with HSBC India (Sriram Krishnan):Introduction: The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation is in banking sector and listed company. HSBC provides banking and financial services like accepts customer deposits, raise capital from investor and financial services to local vendor for their business growth. In India HSBC has branches and outsourcing for customer support. Since HSBC is international organization, maintain similar culture but In terms of market follows what domestic banker does. Services provide by HSBC:a)     Banking Services – supports all account opening, maintenance related activitiesb)     Mortgage Services – supports disbursements of loans for retail customers.c)      Credit Services – supports disbursements of loans, lines of credit, guarantees for corporate customersd)     Card Services – issuance, maintenance of debit & credit cards for retail and corporate customers.e)     Payments – managing all type of payment channels through which payments or collections are made for customers across all lines of businessf)       Wealth – mainly for customers belonging to the retail business, managing the portfolio in shares, mutual funds, bonds etc.

In short I am explaining how it is divided and how it works. Retail banking takes care of individual customer. Corporate banking takes care of small scale to large scale business financial service. Human resources, internal auditors, administration these are all support function to the organization.

Branches & ATM are services for. Ø  Retail Banking: Retail banking Provide services like Private Banking, Express Banking, advances, consumer loans, payments, insurances, investment services, Interest Rates & fees, and Pensions. These services provided by the bank to its customer based on the eligibility criteria. Retail banking deals with the customer directly and the healthy relationship. Each branch has the employees – Branch Manager (L6), Senior and junior associates (L7).Ø  Corporate Banking: Corporate Banking provide services like investment banking, foreign trade, Cash Management, commercial cards, Project finances, and international banking.

Banks approaches to small and medium size enterprises for their financial need. International banking services include trade financing & foreign exchange transactions. For the cash management provides service short term loan for working capital. Corporate banking will controlled by Manager (L6) and Unit Heads (L5)Ø  Support functions: Human resources, administration, Information technology are support functions for banking sector.

HR takes care of recruitment, induction, policies for the organization. Where administration takes care of office setup, maintenance for the organization. Information technology involve in the software for banking, online security to for transaction.

Ø  Branches & ATM: Retail banking comes under branches, branches plays key role for the banking for dealing with it customer. ATM are taken care by division office for proper functioning of cash transaction.  2.

      Cloud6.      Cognitive offeringsOrganization structure: Dell organization structure is Functional Authority Organizational Structure. The organizational structure followed in Dell is similar to the functional decentralization followed in many other corporate companies.

This type of structure helps in improving the efficiency of people in general but also ensures long- term success for the company. Ø  Top Level Management: Top level management are CEO or Chairman and board directors. The board is responsible for managing, supervising, and assisting all other departments.Ø  Support level 1: The Vice-Chairman who is also the President of Global Operations and End User Computing Services Report to CEO of the company.

Further supported by 4 other Presidents of Enterprise Solutions, Chief Commercial services, Services and software.  Four other Presidents holding the departments of General Counsel, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources.
