StrucTempmanagement is committed to ascertaining compliance with all relevant regulatoryand legislative requisites as an absolute minimum standard. Ourstatement of general policy is · to provide adequatecontrol of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities; · to consult withour employees on matters affecting their health and safety; · to ensure safehandling and use of substances; · to provideinformation, instruction and supervision for employees; · to ensure allemployees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training; · to preventaccidents and cases of work-related ill health; · to maintain safeand healthy working conditions; and · review and revisethis policy as necessary at regular intervals;· ensurecommunication between all parties regarding relevant Workplace Health &Safety issues;· ensure all workrelated incidents are followed up and appropriate steps are taken to prevent a recurrence;and· ensure health andsafety issues are resolved, monitored and reviewed; Thedirector of StrucTemp will determine through positive leadership and encouragementthat employees comply with this policy.
Overalland final responsibility for health and safety is that of the Director of theCompany. The day-to-day responsibility for ensuring this policy is put intopractice is a line management duty. Allemployees and all those working on behalf of the company are required to: •co-operate on all health and safety matters; •not interfere with anything provided to safeguard their health and safety; and•take reasonable care of their own health and safety; If a situation arises where anemployee believes that a task or condition will endanger either themselves orothers, work should cease and the situation should be immediately reported tothe Director. Thecompany’s policy, objectives and implementation will be monitored on anon-going basis and will form part of the management review process. The policywill be communicated to all employees and made available to visitors and thepublic as well as when requested to suppliers, subcontractors and customers.
