not have access to improved sanitation, and this means more than 35% of the world’s population,Further noticing that according to the World Health Organization and UNICEF, regions with the lowest coverage of “improved” sanitation in 2006 were sub-Saharan Africa, Southern Asia, and Eastern Asia,Bearing in mind that poor sanitation is linked to transmission of diseases such as cholera, diarrhoea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid and polio,Taking into concentration that 892 million still defecate in the open, for example in street gutters, behind bushes or into open bodies of water, Emphasizing that problems such as lack of availability of clean water, diseases spread via the water supply, and water pollution causes challenges about water supplying in LEDCs,Noting with satisfaction that according to UN deficient institutional and administrative structures, lack of political will, accountability and lack of stakeholder engagement are part of the problem as well, Fully aware of there is a program called as Community Approaches to Total Sanitation (CATS) which is supported by UNICEF works on the issue of ending open defecation in order to obtain a sanitary  environment, Calls upon United Nations, World Health Organization, and member states to work in collaboration in order to detect the needs of LEDCs on the issue of sanitation and hygiene services, and record them under the body of Joint Monitoring Program by the means of;Investigating member states with the help of local government authorities to see the hygiene and sanitation level of rural areas, and common places such as schools and hospitals, Documenting the needs of the member states on a database, developed by the help of WHO in order to share the needed data with United Nations authorities from all around the world,Compare the previously written reports with the newly created ones to recognize the areas that need development, and understand which techniques are long-term, or short-term,Holding a conference in the Hague, annually, in order to share the composed data with all member states to learn about different aspects and make suggestions, and also in order toKeep track of the developments which take place in LEDCs,See how already suggested solution ways are affecting the hygiene and sanitation of mentioned member states;Calls UN and WHO to send basic needs and equipments to the LEDCs which will be constructed and distributed to the ones which are in need such as, but not limited to, by the help of World Bank, and local governments, and will be transported there with the help of neighbouring MEDCs, or any member state that is willing to help;Flush or pour-flush toilets, ventilated, improved pit latrine, pit latrine with slab, Composting toilet, hygienic soaps, sanitary pads, laundry sticks;Encourages United Nations, World Health Organization, and World Bank to work in cooperation in order to construct hospitals equipped with hygienic, sanitary, and advanced equipments in LEDCs, and sending doctors and medicine from all around the world to these places in order to;Ensure the local community gets help in times of emergency such as burning cases, allergies, birth, infections, etc. , Provide the needed treatment to those who have problems caused because of hygienic problems such as cholera, typhoid, infectious hepatitis, polio, cryptosporidiosis, and ascariasis,Inform the people about rational drug use such as they should keep the drug away from the children, they must keep it somewhere safe, and cool, and informing them how often they should use it in a day, Manage the solid waste that is caused because of irrational and incorrect usage of medical equipments by keeping it somewhere far away from the locals, and informing locals to not interact with any of them by any means;Recommends member states, World Health Organization, and United Nations to work in cooperation in the interest of detecting the ongoing diseases that local community suffers from, and forming an organization for this specific case under UN which will be named as UNDCF (United Nations Disease Control Foundation) by means such as,authorising people by the help of the local government in these suffering countries to get samples from the environment in order to examine them in laboratories to find more about why such diseases are caused, and what can be done to protect the citizens from those microbes,Determining the needed medicines according to these detections, and sending the right and useful medications to the LEDCs by the help of World Bank and local government, and ensuring this is happening in the correct way by forming a branch under UNICEF to examine and track this process,Informing the locals about the diseases and what they should do in order to keep themselves safe from these diseases by organizing seminars in the centers of rural areas, and also informing them about the mentioned statements in clause three;Suggests United Nations, member nations, and World Bank to work in collaboration with MEDCs in order to construct safe and sanitary toilets in areas that are in need like rural ones, and improving the already existing ones by building additional ones, and repairing the obsolete ones in order to, give hygienic services to the local community, especially women because they are greatly in need of sanitary due to their physical statues, Creating a hygienic place for the students and workers in schools and workplaces in order to increase the number of people attending to school, or working, Decrease the possibility of expansion of infectious diseases;Asks for LEDCs and World Health Organization to work in cooperation in order to inform locals by distributing brochures, or holding conferences in the centers of cities and visiting the rural areas to educate and inform them by such means of with ;How unhealthy and dangerous it is to go out in fields, forests, open bodies of water, or other open spaces rather than using a toilet, and which diseases are caused because of open defecation, How you should use the toilets in order to keep them clean and safe for everyone,What should be done when there is an infection going on, and what should a person do to avoid catching the disease,What are some symptoms of the diseases that are caused by the lack of sanitation and hygiene, and what should be done when we face such symptoms, Calls upon LEDCs to come up with new national sanitation and hygiene policies, or review and develop the already existing ones by the help of United Nations, and all member states by means of, but not limited to,Establishing one, or more than one national plan for accelerating progress to meet national sanitation goals and Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 such as, but not limited to, putting up a goal to construct one thousand safe and hygienic toilets per every rural area,Ensuring the establishment of one accountable institution which will be a branch of the government, and will get help from the authorities from United Nations to take the leadership of the national sanitation portfolio; in order to preserve the permanency and discipline of planned actions, Establishing a specific public sector budget for sanitation and hygiene programmes by the help of World Bank, and seeking aid from MEDCs in needed cases for construction or transportation charges;Requests all member states including MEDCs and LEDCs to work in cooperation with World Bank and World Health Organization to create a body of experienced and open-minded doctors, scientists, and innovators in order to,Seek new technological ways to purify water in LEDCs which will be both economic and safe such as lately developed filtering water with nanotechnology, lifestraw, or sunspring systems,Come up with new ideas which will provide innovative ways to transport water from the resource to the settlement area in a healthy and harmless way,Find modernized and ingenious ways of water harvesting, desalination, water efficiency, wastewater treatment, recycling and reuse technologies which are also mentioned in Sustainable Development Goals; Urges governments of LEDCs, and United Nations to work in cooperation in order to come up with an addition to the present curriculum to raise awareness around children about topics such as pollution, hygiene, sanitation by means of such as, but not limited to,Giving them information about how an ideal, sanitary, waste free world would be like, Asking them to change their lifestyles by the techniques they learn in school such as how should toilets be used, how often should we wash our hands,Asking them to teach some of the information to their families as well in order to raise awareness all around the country via children;Urges UN and neighbouring countries to work in cooperation in order to aid the countries that are in conflict by sending them equipments mentioned in clause two, and trying to construct toilets near the shelters, and also aiding the refugee camps that are located in LEDCs, or neighbouring member states by:Building toilets which are fulfilled with hygienic equipments, and suitable for every gender, age, and race, Preparing workshops or conferences in the mentioned camps in order to educate and inform the people about what they must do to keep themselves clean and the places they live in hygienic,Setting up rules in the mentioned camps in order to maintain the authority that is needed to keep the sanitation;Requests LEDCs to keep their water resources clean by adding penalties to their policies if something detrimental takes place, and setting up warnings around the water resources to give notice of possible occurrence to the citizens and people around it in order to prevent them defecate, or dispose waste material of any kind, and also constructing new pipelines from these water resources to the places which are in need of clean water with the help of United Nations by the means of:If this water resource is located in the neighboring member state, compromising with them by signing a treaty to use their water resources to transport clean water,Constructing water fountains or wells to the places where the water will be transported to, so that people who live there can benefit from it, Ensuring that these fountains and swells can be used in any weather condition, or time of the day, and by any race, gender, or age,Authorising people to keep track of these fountains and swells in order to prevent anyone getting more than they need, interfere in times of injustice treatment between citizens, and ensure that everyone benefits from the system equally.
