What Christians believe about their responsibility for other people

Christians believe that they are responsible for what happens to others in this day, if someone is hurt they know it is their duty to help them. That is true Christianity. They looked up to Jesus and saw what he did.

He was, and still is a role model to Christians today. He encourages us to help those in need. Jesus was an inspiration to all but he also was inspired in the work he did. He looked at the Old Testament scriptures and they inspired him.An example of an old scripture would be in Deuteronomy 15v11 its says “For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. ” This meaning of this quote is that the poor will never get what they need so we need to help them in doing so.

Another example form the book of Isaiah it says “Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? ” This is a quote showing that if you see someone you should cover them; if they are hungry you should feed them. These are good examples are of what Christians are trying to show today. Also when Jesus wants us to help others he doesn’t just say it, he acts to his words and he showed us how to help someone, an example of this is the healing of blind bartimaues, he healed the sick to show the way that Christians should behave.Christians are also inspired by Jesus through the way he taught us things using parables such as the rich fool, this parable teaches us to share and it shows that there is no difference between the rich and the poor. “This is how it is with those who pile up riches for themselves but are not rich in God’s sight. ” This means that basically you should share out your things because you are not just helping others but you will enjoy your life after death and will receive eternal life if not then you will not, u cannot be board and greedy.

If you have enough money to share then do so because all of those in need, would be grateful off so little things to you, you do not have to give drastic amounts to help someone you just have to give as much as you can. In conclusion in Christianity, helping others in need is a duty not something they have to do but something they should do and want to, it is their responsibility to help those In need get what they deserve and I think that Jesus was a great role model to all Christians and he guided us on our way to help others and I think we should all be glad that he helped us were we are today.
