You ever wondered what was affected by World War II? WWII was a war that started in Europe and was a very brutal war.

It all had to do with a country (Germany) think they were superior and that if you were not perfect like them you should be killed and they mostly targeted one religion and that was the religion of the Jews. The leader of the Germans was a man who created the Nazi party his name was Adolf Hitler. The United States were not in the war until later they joined when there Naval base on Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanese.

There is some good information on the good, the bad , and the ugly consequences of joining the Second World War. Even though World War II was a turning point for the United States gained many things from joining the war like getting out of the Great Depression that would of lasted even longer if it wasn’t for the World War ,but then again the United States also lost a bunch of Naval ships and supplies in the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Start of with the good consequences of joining World War II. Even though it was a war good things can come from joining and going to war. Like when World War II  ended up creating the United Nations and now many countries are joining which is causing less conflict because countries are all siding with each other and also helping countries in need. The World War also helped boost the economy and confidence of the United States because before they went into war they were in the time of the Great Depression and the War helped the country have something to work for and gave them more jobs to have and more work to do. There is a question some people are arguing it and it is a pretty good question. Why did they have to wait for a World War to be able to get out of the Great Depression? Well the answer has been found.

In an article Peter Ferrara states that “The Depression was actually ended, and prosperity restored, by the sharp reductions in spending, taxes and regulation at the end of World War II.” So basically the war did end the Great Depression because the government needed more money on military supplies. The bad consequences of Joining the World War II.

After the war there was a lot of tension going around that would eventually cause the Cold War which was about Nuclear Weapons. That was mostly between the United States and the Soviet Union of Russia. The Russians in World War II were originally with or had a deal with the Nazis of Germany. The tensions between the United States and Russia were very real. Another real thing that the United States did that really made the Russians mad was the Berlin Airlift. Now that was when the War was over and each Allied power had control of certain areas of Germany. The Russians had a control around Berlin and were not letting supplies like food,water,clothing, and farming goods to be brought into Berlin. Now the United States did a costly thing that could have kick started another war.

Anyways the plan was to fly supplies over to Berlin to support the city. The United States was not the only country. The United Kingdom helped to. “During the Berlin airlift, an Allied supply plane took off or landed in West Berlin every thirty seconds.

The planes made nearly three hundred thousand flights in all” Now people assume the the tension between the United States and the Soviet Union. The people are correct because the Russians wanted more power in Europe but the United states were not allowing it.This made tensions between the Russians and Americans grow very fast. This ended causing more conflicts down the road between these two power houses of nations.

The ugly consequences of World War II were very devisting or could of ended up very devastating. Pearl Harbor. The bombing of Pearl Harbor was very devisting for the United States and caused a big lost in Naval Damage and in shoulders. “The attack killed 2,403 U.S.

personnel, including 68 civilians, and destroyed or damaged 19 U.S. Navy ships, including 8 battleships” and that’s a big lost in The United States Navy at the time and the worst part is there was nothing they could do about it unless they joined the war against the Japanese, Germans, and Italians. Another big fatal decision was after the war when another conflict was starting. The Cold War was a nuclear race between Russia and the United States. This later caused many other conflicts in the war. Like the King Jong Un nuclear weapons that he is threatening countries with today.

This was a big change in war because now someone or one nation had the power and technology to completely wipe out another country or other countries. Some people say that nuclear weapons are horrible and in some cases they are but if someone needs to be ended they come in handy. An argument that people have is nuclear weapons are to much. That is a popular opinion and it all depends on where you come from and the way you will use these weapons against people. This essay made me realize that the bigger the action the bigger chance of a good, bad, or ugly consequence and that all actions have consequences. Through the paragraphs there was all three good, bad, and ugly consequences of World War II. Like the good are created the United Nations.

Which are still in action today and another good is the war getting us out of the Great Depression which was killing the United States and there was more goods it is just those were the main ones for the world and the United States. The bad parts were decient like they were problems but countries working together overcame the problems that could have been way worse than what they ended up. One bad was the tension between countries but mostly between the United States and the Soviet Union of Russia which also lead up to the second bad consequence of the World War.The Berlin Airlift was a pretty smart idea but it took a lot of time, hard work, thinking to get it to work perfectly but luckily they got it done in a couple tries to save the starving people in Berlin. The ugliest consequences of the World War could of and one of them did end very bad. Like the Cold War which is still sort of going on right now or the Bombing of Pearl Harbor. Which was very devastating to the United States and forced them to join the war to get revenge and they definitely did when the bombed Japan.

 Even though World War II was a turning point for the United States we gained many things from joining the war like getting out of the Great Depression that would of lasted even longer if it wasn’t for the World War ,but then again we also lost a bunch of Naval ships and supplies in the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
